Description of Service

  1. What TaxQuickly Provides: TaxQuickly is an tax form guidance platform. We help users understand and fill out IRS forms including W-2, 1099-NEC, 1040, and related schedules through a conversational interface.
  2. Not Professional Tax Advice: TaxQuickly is an informational tool only. Nothing on this platform constitutes professional tax, legal, or financial advice. For complex tax situations, we strongly recommend consulting a licensed CPA or tax professional.
  3. Accuracy Disclaimer: While we strive for accuracy, tax laws change frequently. TaxQuickly cannot guarantee that all calculations or guidance are free of errors. You are responsible for verifying your final tax filings.

Your Account

  1. Account Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
  2. Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account and using the service. Providing false information may result in termination of your account.
  3. Account Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms or engage in any activity that harms TaxQuickly, its users, or third parties.

Acceptable Use

  1. Permitted Use: You may use TaxQuickly solely for lawful personal tax preparation purposes. Any commercial resale or redistribution of our service or outputs is prohibited without prior written consent.
  2. Prohibited Activities: You agree not to misuse the service by attempting to reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit the platform; submitting false or fraudulent tax data; or using the service to facilitate any illegal activity including tax fraud.

Intellectual Property

  1. Our Content: All content, branding, UI design, and software on TaxQuickly are the intellectual property of TaxQuickly and its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the platform without written permission.
  2. Your Data: You retain ownership of the tax data you input. By using our service, you grant TaxQuickly a limited license to process that data solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.
  3. IRS Forms: IRS tax forms displayed on this platform are public domain documents published by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service. TaxQuickly does not claim ownership over any official government forms.

Limitation of Liability

  1. No Warranty: TaxQuickly is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely accurate for your specific tax situation.
  2. Liability Cap: To the maximum extent permitted by law, TaxQuickly shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including any penalties or interest assessed by the IRS.
  3. User Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the accuracy of information you submit and for any tax filings you make based on TaxQuickly's guidance. Always review your returns before filing.

  3. Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
